HRM Rex Goliath 2001 Central Coast 'Free Range' Pinot Noir $7.99           I feel that our 2001 HRM Rex-Goliath Pinot Noir is all that and a bit more. The aromas are characteristic of the cool Central coast vineyards that yielded the grapes for this wine. Red berry perfume with a touch of cinnamon spice, wrapped in a blanket of subtle French oak. Breathe it in. This is one of Pinot Noir's great pleasures. The taste is pure Pinot, too. Mouth-filling overripe raspberry and cherry flavors. Soft and supple are a few of the descriptors I would use. The wine exhibits a velvet finish due to the soft tannins and understated acidity.
  • Bogle Vineyards Chardonay 2001 (California) $9.99                  is very pleased to present its 2001 Chardonnay. Barrel fermentation, sur-lies aging, and partial malolactic fermentation have created a rich and elegant wine with layers of complexity. The soft and inviting aromas suggest a warm apple cobbler right out of the oven cooling on the kitchen table. A delicately creamy entry gives way to reveal fresh flavors of Macintosh apple as well. Spicy oak and a touch of cinnamon integrate with this intense fruit, delivering a finish long and lingering.
